This stool is one of a set of 3 stools. The stools are made out of hard maple. The legs and the stretchers were shaped by hand and were left slightly "rough" with visible tool marks to give them a hand hewn look. Through wedged tenons were used to connect the legs to the seat. The stools were finished solely with wax to maintain the light natural color of the maple and to leave a soft, semi protective finish that will age over time.
